From the County of Volusia's Road & Bridge Division:
We recognize there are additional roads in Daytona Park Estates, such as E & W Lake Dr, that require resurfacing. The resurfacing projects are being phased within Daytona Park Estates so that we can address other needed roads throughout the County. Our intent is to include both E & W Lake Dr in the next countywide resurfacing project that will be awarded after October 1st, which is when funding is available after the start of the fiscal year. The next proposed 3-year resurfacing plan is being finalized and will soon be posted to the website below:

An environmental nonprofit announced its plans to open up D Ranch Preserve to the public in the spring of 2025. The 476-acre preserve will have recreational activities such as hiking and equestrian trails.
